Beth and I were talking yesterday. She said that Randi (the mom where Tim is staying) said that she could sleep over whenever she wanted to. They'd kick Tim out of his room and give Beth his bed. I said that there was no need for that - they're only about 15-20 minutes away. If she's that tired, she should come home early.
Last night Tim came over. He seemed pretty tired, so I said that if he's that tired he ought to go on home so he could get some sleep. No, she didn't want him to leave. Finally about midnight I say it's time for him to leave. That's when Beth comes and asks if he can stay, because he's asleep. She said she'd sleep with me - which would have been good, that's exactly where she would have needed to be. However, did we not just have this discussion? There is no need. He doesn't live that far away, and, if he was really that tired, he should have left a while ago. He got up and went home.
I'm sorry, I just don't think her boyfriend needs to be spending the night - even if they're "not doing anything" - it just doesn't look right.
