Image via WikipediaI spent some time looking for Firefox add-ons the other day. I was really looking for a word count tool, which I didn't find. I had one before I upgraded to Firefox 3, but it doesn't work now. But, even though I didn't find the word count thing, I did find some interesting add-ons. One of them works with Google Reader and opens the actual blog post right in my reader - so I can drop my Entrecard and comment without ever leaving the Reader page. That part I like. What I don't like is that I'm used to being able to click on the post title to go to the actual post, and now I can't seem to do it. There must be a way. I just have to find it.
I was right, there is a way. I just had to go to Tools - Add-ons - choose Better GReader, and select Options. There you can choose either Preview Item (Automatically) or Preview Item (Click Button). It was set to preview on click, so it would preview in my reader when I clicked and hide the preview when I clicked again. I changed to preview automatically, so the preview is always there, and when I click, it takes me to the post.
Better GReader also has skins to change the look of your reader, if you want. I like the OS X Style.

Hmmm, I usually use IE out of habit. I have firefox, so maybe I will start using it...Thanks!
