Jeffrey, Cory and I went to see Iron Man 2 this weekend. We went Sunday evening, early enough to still get matinee price. I guess it's been a while since we've been out to see a movie, or we just weren't paying close attention to the ticket price. It costs $7.50 to see a matinee now!
Last summer I signed up for the Marcus Theatres Spotlight movie club. Every week, they choose 4 movies to spotlight and send out a coupon. With the coupon, admission to any of those movies is only $5, any time on Wednesday and Thursday. It's not always convenient to go to a movie in the middle of the week, and these are movies that have been out for a little while, but $5 is a pretty good deal.
Jeffrey and I saw several movies last summer and then just didn't have time to take advantage of them all winter. Now that school's almost over and summer's almost here, I think we'll have to start seeing some $5 movies again. That's a heck of a deal! I'm thinking about Netflix, myself.
