Get Your Master of Arts in Teaching Online

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of 2tor. All opinions are 100% mine.

The USC Rossier School of Education offers the opportunity for aspiring teachers as well as current teachers to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching through an online program.  The program combines highly interactive online learning with hands-on experience in your own area.  So, you can get an education from a School of Education which has been ranked #22 in the United States, and #9 among all private universities by US News and World Report without leaving your home area.  That means current teachers can continue with their current jobs while earning an advanced degree.

The program can be completed in as little as 12 months, and there are scholarships available as well as their ground-breaking tuition reimbursement program.  I'm not sure exactly how that works, but it would be worth looking into the program information to find out more.  Ideally, all teachers would get a great education at little to no cost - but that's just my opinion.  I just think that teachers are some of the most important people on the planet, and I'd like to see all of them equipped to do the best job possible for our children.  Earning a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from an internationally renowned research institution with a 100-year history of educating teachers to be agents of change sounds like a good place to start - especially if the tuition reimbursement makes it affordable.

Even though program participants study from home and enjoy the convenience and flexibility of online learning, they enjoy all benefits of being a USC student, including participation in commencement ceremonies and free lifetime Alumni Association memberships.  Check out the MAT@USC Student Blog for more information and to hear from actual students involved in the program.
