They're Moving!

Since Beth and Tim currently live in a very small one-bedroom apartment, they have been busy looking for another place to live.  They looked at a few houses Beth thought they could afford to buy, but then they found out they couldn't get a loan because Tim has no credit history.  So they started looking for apartments.

They found one they liked, but after they gave him all their information, the landlord never called - and ignored all their phone calls when they tried calling to find out what was going on.  So last Sunday I noticed an apartment in the paper that I thought Beth might be interested in and got her the info.  She called, and she and Cory went to look at it last week.  (Tim was busy, so she took her brother with her so she didn't have to go alone)

She really liked it.  It has a lot more room than they have where they are now.  The kitchen is bigger, with a full-size stove and refrigerator.  The bathroom is bigger.  There are two bedrooms, a little patio, and lots of light coming in the windows, so no need for pendant light fixtures, at least during the daytime.  The landlord was cleaning the carpets, painting, etc., and getting everything ready for the new tenants.

I think there's more room in the living area than in the entire apartment where they live now.

She filled out an application, and they found out this past weekend that they got the apartment and went and signed all the paperwork Monday evening.   So, they're moving!  Soon!  Which is really exciting and good, because they're going to be needing more room really soon - and it will be good to get moved and settled in before the baby gets here.  And, this apartment will cost them less than the other one they looked at, the one where they landlord wouldn't call them back and let them know if they got it or not.

Thankfully, they won't be too far away - farther than they are now but not too far.
