Image via WikipediaAnother advantage to winter, in the exercise category, is that the roads are often quite slippery. Yes, I know, most people wouldn't consider that an advantage, but I'm talking about walking. It makes me tighten everything up more - abs, gluts, etc. - because I'm trying not to fall down.
It seems that as soon as I relax and go back to just walking along, dreaming about
Pomegranate trees and the like, that's when I hit a slick spot and almost fall down. Good thing it's dark and nobody is watching!
If no one is watching then it never happened. ;o)
