I really need to read some of the studies I heard about on the news yesterday about taking calcium supplements and Vitamin D - because it was kind of confusing. On one news show, I thought they said people don't need to take as much Vitamin D as has been recommended recently, and then on another show it sounded like they were still recommending large doses.
I don't take anything regularly, though I'm wondering if I should be thinking about whether I'm getting enough calcium or not. First, though, it looks like I'm going to need to do some research - and maybe I'll just concentrate on getting more dairy products into my diet and get my Vitamin D in my preferred way, from the sun instead of a pill.
How about you? Do you take supplements? Will you continue or change what you do based on the latest studies?
