Here's another possible way to help an elementary school of your choice.  I found this when I was cutting out coupons this morning.

Enter the Brite Start Sweepstakes for a chance to win a $250 Visa Gift Card, and while you're there, designate an elementary school for a chance to win a $1000 'school supplies' award.  There will be 5 grand prizes of a $250 Visa gift card to the winner and a $1000 check for school supplies to the winner's designated school.
