It's Homecoming

The Homecoming football game is tonight. It's the only football game this season that the band has to dress in uniform and gets to perform their show on the field. No competitions this year, no football half-time performances except for this one. It's been a really easy marching band season. We've got to get there early and help the band get into uniform and get things set up because the Band Boosters are selling spirit wear - hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, stuff like that. As long as I get to see the band!

Beth will even probably go to this game. I told her she better go to most of them, since I bought her a pass at registration. Then we had the rainy game - the band played and left early because it was pouring, and Beth and Tim showed up, but I told her she didn't have to stay. We didn't even stay. That night I was really thankful my kid was in band and not on the football team! Oh, and Beth was at the game where the rest of us sold concessions, so I guess I got my money's worth on that pass.

The interesting thing about Homecoming week - the toilet paper on all the trees. So far we've escaped this year.
