Sky Watch Friday (#50)

It's (almost) Friday again, and that means
Sky Watch Friday!

Jeffrey and I walked a little later than normal on Tuesday. Because of Beth's surgery, he wasn’t leaving for work as usual. So, instead of walking in the dark like we normally do this time of year, we got to enjoy the sunrise and had some light to enjoy our surroundings.

I walked out the door to see this sunrise, turned back around and grabbed my camera.

Then, since I already had the camera, I took it along. Jeffrey does not wait for me when I stop to take a picture:

There he is up ahead of me, so I have to run to catch up. He says he’s walking for exercise, not to take pictures. Does he even know what he’s missing? Look at that sky!

If you enjoy looking at the sky as much as I do, you'll want to check out Sky Watch Friday. You can enjoy skies from around the world!

  2. What amazing pictures! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm going to be watching the sky much more closely now and taking my camera everywhere. I stole your 2009 contract if you don't mind, I loved it ;-)

  3. Very scenic clouds to make such a pattern. I don't know if it officially qualifies as mackeral sky, but it might.

I am new here, so in the dark, but am sending best wishes for your daughter Beth's surgery recovery to be smooth.

  6. Very nice! Really incredible cloud patterns. I'm always torn about whether or not to bring my camera along when I go out on a walk - sometimes I do, sometimes I don't and often I regret not bringing it along! Happy 2009! Linnea
