Oops, I ate it all! I was reading over the requirements for this Sponsored Post and read the part about sharing pictures, and I have to tell you, I ate the whole piece and never once thought of pictures. I was too busy enjoying my lunch.
I received a coupon to try the new FRESCHETTA® By the Slice Pizza for free along with a six piece storage set, so I went to Walmart yesterday to pick up my pizza. There were 4 varieties to choose from - BBQ Recipe Chicken; Vegetable Medley; Chicken, Spinach & Mushroom; and Six Cheese Medley. What I love is that I could choose any of those! Since I don't eat pork products, I'm usually limited to cheese when choosing a frozen pizza. All of them sounded great, but I ended up choosing the BBQ Chicken.
My coupon said, "It's true... Oven baked taste out of the microwave." I was a bit skeptical, though. I've had pizza warmed up in the microwave, and it hasn't been good at all. There are microwave directions on the package as well as conventional oven directions. I decided that, in the interest of testing this pizza, I would follow those microwave directions and see if it really did turn out as well as they promised. Guess what? It did! I'm not sure how they do it - they call it 'innovative, microwave cooking technology' and it involves a special cooking tray and moving the pizza from the edge of the turntable to the middle midway through cooking.
However it works, FRESCHETTA® By the Slice delivers one perfect slice of pizza in about 4 minutes, so it's great for lunch or whenever you're craving pizza. It's made with all the same premium ingredients and fresh taste you've come to expect from FRESCHETTA®. I, for one, love their pizzas! The crust was perfect - not too thin, not too thick, and not soggy or chewy like I've come to expect of pizza from the microwave. And the seasonings and vegetables? Fresh tasting and yummy!
