Camera Critters (#95)

cameracritterspost
I heard they did a study recently to see what cats do with their time.  They put cameras on their collars to record what they did all day.  I’m not sure I believe the results of that study, because it said that just six percent of the cats’ hours were spent sleeping.  I’m thinking the results would have been completely different if they’d studied the cats in my house.

Sure, there’s some looking out windows, interacting with one another, climbing on stuff and getting in trouble, and of course eating, but there is an awful lot of sleeping.  Seems like a lot more than 6% of their time.

6% seems an awfully low percentage if you ask me.

  5. Great photos of your kitties! I have to agree with you ... any cat I've ever had has spent a lot more than 6% of his life sleeping. :)

  6. Maybe their study cats had been fed catnip? ;) Lovely photos of you little cats. I think they have the right idea on cold days. Not sure where you are but it's been snowing all day here in Virginia.

  9. same with mom's cats in her house...they eat when it is time for them to eat and after that sleep all day long...and they didn't take a bath unless mom gives them a bath.
