Coloring My Hair

Cory asked me the other day if I was going to color my hair anymore, since I'd mentioned a while back that I was thinking about just giving it up.  Well, I haven't decided, and in the meantime, I let it go way longer than I should in between.  I do know that I'm too lazy to mess with trying to touch up the roots as soon as they need it.  It just seems like more trouble than it's worth.  Those commercials that say you can do it in 'just 10 minutes' - wrong!

Cory said he likes me either way - or something to that effect - because he's a sweetheart.  My husband?  Well, he doesn't really say, but since he's older than I am and doesn't have much gray in his hair at all, I would really hate to look older than he does.  It would make it harder to give him a hard time for being the 'old guy' or just seem odd.  Maybe.

For now I guess I'll just color my hair if I feel like it, not color it if I don't feel like it, and just skip worrying about deciding exactly when I want to quit for good - like when I become a grandma (because that's coming up way too soon) or when it's time to sign up for a Medicare plan.

So, today, I colored my hair.

  1. I'm the same as you, still doing it - sometimes. It's such a pain but I'm not quite ready to be fully grey :(

I love your comments! Keep them coming.
