For the Record

I think it's warm enough out front that I could lay out and start working on my tan.  Actually, just getting out and laying in the son sun, taking a nice nap, would be really good today because I woke up with a slight headache.  But, I've got cleaning and cooking and other stuff to do, so I'm not going to actually get out there. (insert sad face here)  Instead I'm going to keep working.

It is only the end of March, and I know warmer days are coming so there will be more opportunities to get out.  The grass will be turning green, flowers will be coming up, and we won't have to rely on hydroponics but can actually get outside and plant the garden.

In the meantime, I've got the front door open so I can enjoy the sunshine coming in, and I take longer than I might actually need to when I go out to shake a rug.  I might even sit out on the front step for a bit while I have lunch.  Now, that sounds like a plan!  Maybe I could even close my eyes for a bit...

Correction: I was getting ahead of myself.  It only seems warm enough when I'm busy and moving.  Sitting out there eating my lunch, I was very glad to have sweat pants and long sleeves.  But, it's bound to warm up soon.  Back to work.

  1. I can't quite figure out how you would lay in the 'son'. :) And, do I understand that it's warmer in the front than in the back??? Now here it tends to be warmer in the back, especially of a morning....if there's sunshine. I love you my precious daughter!

  2. OK - sun!

Yes, it's warmer in the front because the house and garage provide nice protection from the wind and some reflection of the sun, too. Since Jeffrey and Cory built the pergola, it takes ages to get unshadowed sun in the back. Or else I have to go out into the yard where there's no protection at all.

    I love you, too!

  3. I just sit at my desk in the morning and get lots of sun!! and i get to watch the birds, and the world go by! Sometimes i even go outside!

I love your comments! Keep them coming.
