Community Search Revolution

I think we're all in agreement that one company shouldn't control the Internet. The World Wide Web belongs to all of us, right?

With that in mind, Earthfrisk.org is launching the world's first Hybrid Meta-Community search engine on Monday - but you can go check it out now. They bring together all of the best results from all the big search engines, because no one search engine has a monopoly on the best results. Even better than that, they intend to improve on those results by letting the community submit sites, comment on sites, and vote on the results. The idea is that people matter again, and eventually soon what real people think about real websites will matter more than the linking schemes and spam you get with many search engines.

Earthfrisk.org will also be introducing their new ratings system, called Color Value (CV) ratings, which cannot be manually altered by any one company.
