Movie Night

I said I would probably explain why my Camera Critters post was so late on Sunday. Did anyone read that part or were you too distracted looking at the pictures of Miss Tillie? She's such a cutie.

Anyway, I was planning to post my Camera Critters Saturday evening, but first I had to get my pictures off my camera. I'm so horrible at that. I take lots of pictures. After all, it's digital so it doesn't cost me any extra to shoot more. Then I have all these pictures on my camera, and I just cannot download them all. I have to look through them and make decisions - which ones to keep, which ones not. I have so many similar pictures, and I have the hardest time figuring out which ones are better, which ones not so good. What makes a picture good, anyway? I really don't know.

Caspian XThen, as I was deciding and downloading, Beth called to see if I wanted to go see Prince Caspian. She had just been complaining earlier that day that she felt left out because she has been working so much, and the rest of us went to see the Indiana Jones movie - and didn't even ask her if she wanted to go. So, I figured since she asked, that I should go to the movie with her. Besides, I wanted to see the movie.

I probably could have gotten my pictures downloaded and my post made because we didn't leave here until 9pm, but I didn't. And then the movie started at 9:45, lasted more than 2 hours, and then we had to take Tim home - so we didn't get home until about 1am. We really enjoyed the movie, though, so I guess it was worth it. I haven't read the book in years so I wasn't too worried about how well the movie followed the book. I have learned that it's not a good idea to read a book first and then see the movie because I'm usually disappointed. This movie did not disappoint. I liked it better than the first one.

I figure Beth only asked me if I wanted to go with them because she needed someone to drive. She's still on her GDL, so she's not supposed to drive after midnight. So it was my gas and my money for tickets. Still, at least she asked...

  1. Aurora keeps asking me to take her to see that movie. Now I know why by looking at the picture of him. ;o)

  2. Hey Anna! Thanks for the fancy limes photo! I'm not sure how you did it but it looks neat. Some of the limes appear to by ghost-like but other than that, it looks good not having those lines on there. I tried not to let it bother me but now that you have fixed it, whew! LOL Thanks again for your kindness and efforts! I didn't know I needed it, but I'm sure glad you did it! BeccA
