Why I Wear Old Clothes

An opened up pomegranate.Image via WikipediaI just made juice, a yummy pomegranate cranberry . When I opened the container, for some reason, the lid flipped off onto the floor, splattering juice concentrate all over me and the floor. Nice, dark red, thick, sticky stuff.

I changed my clothes and treated the splattered ones with stain stick, but who knows if it will come out. But that's why I wear old clothes around the house. If something like that happens, and the stain doesn't come out, it's no big loss.

What do you wear around the house? Do you dress like a soap opera mom in your high heels and pearls, or do you wear any old thing that comes to hand. Or something in between?

  1. Probably something in between. I have clothes that I call good clothes some of which came from the thrift store, but I like them and they fit well. I have clothes that are ok and do for working clothes. I don't like to wear stained clothes they get dumped. I always change out of my good clothes when I come home and put on work clothes. No exception.

  2. When I'm home I'm usually wearing pajama pants and a t-shirt in the winter and in the summer cut off jean shorts and a tank top.

  3. Jeans, t shirts and sneakers. Well, now it's shorts, t shirts and sandals. I work at home and nobody sees me. If I know I am going out, I'll dress nicer : )
