Time to Talk to Our Insurance Agent

Our life insurance agent's office called yesterday. It's been a few years since we've gone over our policies, and he'd like to sit down with us and discuss everything. Things may have changed, and it's always good to make sure we've got the right coverage. I have a hard time understanding the difference between Whole Life Policies and Term Life Policies. Our agent is really good at explaining these things and helping us understand Insurance Plans Pros and Cons so we can make the right decisions for our family. Also, he's not real pushy so I don't feel pressured into anything. It's just a matter of finding making the time for him to come over and talk to us.

I don't ever want to have to use it, but I am really glad that we have Life Insurance. We've known a few people who died without any insurance, and it was really hard on the families. As if losing a loved one isn't hard enough, they also had to figure out how they were going to afford to continue with their lives. I wonder if they would have gotten the insurance if they could've gotten lower insurance premiums, or if they just thought they'd never need it?

If you don't have your own life insurance agent, you can get an idea of the cost for a life insurance policy online. Advantage Term Life lets you compare several different policies, but I'd still like to talk to someone who can explain how much insurance we should actually have. Probably because that's the way we've done it from the beginning, but I like the fact that he asked if I want to have to work if something happens to Jeffrey, and then told us how much insurance we would need so I wouldn't have to.

I need to call back and make an appointment.
