Heads or Tails - V

Barb at Skittles' Place has started a little meme called Heads or Tails. This week it's HEADS - Vote OR TAILS - Any other word starting with the letter "V"

I choose Tails: Something that Starts with the Letter 'V'

Cory was sitting at his computer yesterday afternoon. Everything was going along as normal, when he suddenly said, "Oh, no!" I thought something must really be wrong, like he forgot to turn in a school assignment, or his Lego design was disqualified from the contest, or something serious.

"What?" I asked. "What's wrong?"
"Yesterday was the 5th of November, and I forgot to watch V for Vendetta."
It took me a second to realize that, no it actually was the 5th of November right then. He hadn't missed it. Somehow his watch had gotten set ahead, and it said Tuesday, November 6 - instead of Monday, November 5. Crisis averted. He ran downstairs, grabbed the movie, and popped it into his computer.

And now for a whole bunch of V's:

Remember, remember, the Fifth of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot...
Be sure to check out other Heads or Tails participants.

  1. I remember watching the Letter People show because I remember the theme song and a couple of the characters, but I don't remember alot about it. There weren't that many shows if I remember right. It's funny to see them now and see how primitive they are. There are several episodes on youtube. Have a great day!!
