The kids are officially on Winter Break now. No school until next year. January 5, I think.
Since Beth's been working late and getting home late, she hasn't been exactly enthusiastic about getting up in the mornings. So, this morning when I woke her up, I was trying to be encouraging. I said, "You can sleep in tomorrow." Wrong. She has to work at 9am. So, she may be able to sleep in a little, but it won't be much. At least she gets off earlier.
Jeffrey and I will be getting up at normal time, probably to shovel the driveway. He said we're supposed to get another 4-6 inches of snow by tomorrow morning. I'm not exactly sure where we're going to put it, since the piles on the sides of the driveway are getting really tall. I was cleaning the driveway off this morning and went to toss a shovel of snow off the driveway when I realized I couldn't actually lift it that high. Cory says it's because I'm short, but that's not it! I had to push the snow to another part of the driveway so I could get it off.
I guess that means Cory will have to shovel tomorrow if it needs it again, since he's not short. I'm pretty sure he loves being taller than I am, since he points it out all the time.
