Earn Money for Your School with Schoolpop

I've mentioned before how much it bothers me that people don't support the school, even when it wouldn't cost them a thing. Usually I'm talking about the box tops and soup labels that people just throw out, when they could take an extra minute to remove them and then donate them to the school.

Tonight I've been reminded of another way people can be school fundraising supporters, and it won't cost them a thing. By joining Schoolpop, they can earn money for their local school, or any school they choose, by doing things they already do. They can earn by shopping at their favorite online merchants, or by getting a Schoolpop credit card and using it for everyday purchases. With every purchase made at one of the online merchants listed, their chosen school can earn up to 36% at no cost to them.

I'm going to admit that I'm just as bad. Sure, I've been saving my box tops and soup labels, but I joined Schoolpop ages ago to support our local school, and I haven't been using it. I shop online. Why shouldn't the school earn something from that? Now that I've been reminded, I'm going to see if I still have an account or if I have to sign up again - and start earning money for my school. Seriously, I'd rather do that than buy stuff I don't need when they come to my front door.

How about you? Even if you don't have kids in school, I bet you know some kids in school, and I bet their school would appreciate the support.
