Red Roses plus Chocolate equals True Love

Valentine's Day is probably the busiest day of the year for the flower shops. Mostly I'm pretty cheap, and it seems like such a waste to buy something that's just going to die anyway. Of course, that doesn't stop me from ooohing and aaahing over all the rose bouquets and arrangements I've been looking through at 1800Flowers.com. Yes, I know it's terribly traditional, but I have this thing for red roses, and do they ever have some gorgeous red roses. Add some chocolate like in these One Dozen Red Roses with Godiva® Truffles, and I am practically drooling.

If roses aren't your thing, they also have
organic fruit gifts, teddy bears, plants, and more. I like the idea of the plants, because they're not going to die - at least not right away. It all depends on how well you take care of them. A plant would be the right kind of gift for a practical person like me, and my wonderful husband knows me well enough to know that. No, I wouldn't kill him if he got me roses and chocolate, but buying me the plant would show me that he really knows me. That's true love.
