It's Friday again, and that means Sky Watch Friday!There was a lunar eclipse last night, so I had to take some pictures. I really should have used a tripod, but it was so very cold outside that I wasn't setting up for the long haul. I took a few pictures through some windows, and I ran outside my front door a few times to see what I could get. I like this one best, as the shadow of the earth was just beginning to come across the moon. In a couple years I can try again.

ReplyDeleteOh yay yay yay!!! You are awesome!!! I watched out my window while talking to my dad on the phone. When I got off the phone, I said I should really go take some pics and Hubs said "Of what? The moon will be covered up and it will be dark. Don't bother"

ReplyDeleteI have seen many moon shots today and each one is a joy to see. I would have posted the same myself but we had clouds.
I didn't get to see the eclipse but I tell you if I had my camera last night I would have had an amazing shot of the big bright full moon peeking out behind some clouds (Maybe it's time I carry my camera with me at all times )

ReplyDeleteYour eclipse photo is one of the best because of the way the shadow is placed. It doesn't look like a not-full moon. I like the size because I love seeing the craters and terrain. Wonderful!
