It Must Be Spring

Last week, the grass turned green. The trees are budding out, and I'll bet we'll have leaves before too long. I thought about zooming in and taking a picture of some of those tree buds today, but the wind was so strong, I knew I'd never be able to focus on anything. It's light again in the mornings when Jeffrey and I go for our walk. I've got sun in my eyes on the home stretch, but I really can't complain, can I? It's light out! The birds are singing their little hearts out every morning now. They know it's Spring, and they want to be sure we know it, too.

It was practically 70° today. Did I mention the wind? I was afraid my groceries were going to blow away between the store and the van. It was definitely a two-hands-on-the-wheel-if-you-drive-a-high-profile-vehicle day. Said vehicle even got a bath. It was time to wash that winter road salt mess off and start fresh. I'm feeling optimistic that I won't have to deal with that again for a while - like next winter.

And the #1 reason I say it must be Spring? Cory wore shorts to school.
